Get tasks done in Palmerston North

Palmy is a flat, compact city with Massey University and a large defence and logistics presence, so people arrive and leave throughout the year. Moves, bond cleans and flat pack builds are steady work for local taskers.

Families in Hokowhitu, Milson and Kelvin Grove post lawn mowing and garden tidy-ups, while the Fitzherbert side near the campus sees student flat changeovers.

Most homes here are single level weatherboard and brick bungalows on flat sections, which makes moves straightforward. The Manawatū is known for its wind off the Tararua Range, so trampolines and outdoor furniture need tying down. Taskers also travel to Feilding, Ashhurst and Levin.

Frequently asked questions

Do taskers go to Feilding?

Many do. Mention the town so nearby taskers see your task.

Can someone secure a trampoline against wind?

Yes. Trampoline assembly and tie-down kits are common requests.

Is it busy when Massey semesters start?

February and July are busier for moves and cleans, so post early.
