Taskeeu vs TaskRabbit
TaskRabbit is a well known US marketplace for furniture assembly, mounting, moving help and other home tasks. Clients choose a Tasker by hourly rate, skills and reviews, then chat and confirm the booking in the app.
Taskeeu works differently: you post a task and taskers send bids on that specific job. The agreed price goes into a secure hold and is released with a 6-digit completion code. Here is how the two compare.
| Feature | Taskeeu | TaskRabbit |
|---|---|---|
| How you hire | Post a task and receive bids from taskers | Browse Taskers and book one by hourly rate, skills and reviews |
| Pricing model | Taskers bid a price for the whole job | Taskers set hourly rates shown before booking |
| Cost to post or browse | Free to post, free for taskers to bid | Free to browse; fees apply to bookings |
| Client fees | No client service fee; Taskeeu keeps 20% from the tasker payout | Service fee charged to clients on bookings |
| When you pay | Into a secure hold after you choose a tasker | By card in the app after the task is completed |
| Payment release | You give the tasker a 6-digit completion code | Billed through the app based on the booking |
| Tasker vetting | Identity verification and required documents before bidding | States it runs identity checks and criminal background checks on Taskers |
| Remote tasks | Yes, with the same payment hold | Focused on in-person home tasks |
| Cancellation | Agreed in chat before the task starts | Free cancellation or rescheduling with at least 24 hours notice |
